Robert H. Anderson PA-C
Robert has practiced family medicine in southern Idaho for the past 16 years. He graduated from Utah State University with a Bachelor of Arts in June 1996, and then From Baylor College of Medicine, in Houston, Texas in December of 1999, earning a Master’s of Science in Physician Assistant Studies. While he loved living in Texas, Idaho has been his home and he enjoys living closer to family and the mountains he loves.
He grew up in a few miles north of Idaho Falls, moving pipe during the summers and pulling boards in potato harvest in the fall. He developed a love for fly fishing and hunting. He learned to tie flies at 13 years old, and tied flies commercially during his college years in Logan, Utah while attending Utah State University. He also enjoys camping, downhill skiing, and reading books. He enjoys driving while his wife reads to the family. He enjoys living in a smaller community with the closeness of friends and family.
In December 1993, he married Tracie Bell of Ammon, Idaho. They have four wonderful children! They all grow faster by the month, and bring new life adventures by the day! Mrs. Anderson teaches 5th grade. Robert enjoys spending time with the family. He often coaches the sports and helps in the activities the children choose to do. He volunteers time for church activities as well.
Robert notes in his career as a Physician Assistant, “I love the interaction with patients. It is a privilege to participate with patients and their families in the effort of finding help for the issues that impact their lives. I view the process of giving medical care as a sacred trust between provider and patient. I’m grateful for the friendship, compassion, and kindness that have been shown to me through the years as I get to help others.”
Robert is proud to join SFMC in January 2016!
